AAA's breakdown service goes beyond simply arriving at the scene. Our trained technicians carry diagnostic tools and equipment to assess the problem on the spot. Common roadside fixes include addressing overheating issues, reconnecting loose battery terminals, resolving starter motor problems, and handling minor electrical faults. The goal is always to get you moving again without needing a tow.
When roadside repair is not enough
Some breakdowns require more than a quick fix. If your vehicle has a serious mechanical or engine failure, AAA will arrange towing to the garage or dealership of your choice. You are never left stranded — AAA handles the full process from diagnosis to recovery.

AAA's breakdown service covers all of Qatar. Whether you are in central Doha, on the highway heading to Al Khor, near the industrial area, or out by Dukhan, help is always available. Breakdown cover with AAA membership
All AAA membership tiers include breakdown assistance. Silver membership starts at just QAR 250 per year. Club (QAR 500/year) and Gold (QAR 750/year) members receive additional benefits including registration renewal service and courtesy car coverage.

What does AAA do when my car breaks down?
AAA dispatches a trained technician to diagnose the problem on the spot. If a roadside repair is possible — such as a loose connection, overheating fix, or minor mechanical issue — the technician resolves it there. If the vehicle cannot be repaired roadside, AAA tows it to a garage of your choice.
Is breakdown service available outside Doha?
Yes. AAA provides breakdown service across the entire State of Qatar, including Al Khor, Al Wakrah, Lusail, Dukhan, and all major highways.
What if my car can't be fixed roadside?
If your vehicle cannot be repaired at the roadside, AAA will tow it to the garage or dealership of your choice using our flatbed tow trucks. Towing is included in all AAA membership packages.
